Is there a quick means to convert the page to XWiki Syntax once I've added
it?

Note that compared to the XWiki Syntax there are quite a lot of things you
cannot do with the mediawiki syntax. That's why we recommend using the XWiki
Syntax 2.0 as much as possible.

numbered lists and links to prefixed (User:Blaa) mediawiki pages are
rendered, but overall seems very close
