Re: [xwiki-users] Dropping support for IE8 in 6.x cycle?

Hi everyone, For the 6.x cycle ( http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Roadmaps/WebHome) we plan to develop a new skin Flamingo ( http://design.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Improvements/Skin4x ). One of the advantages of this skin is that is **responsive**. Currently IE8 doesn't natively support this functionality. I am wondering how many of you are using this browser and how difficult would be upgrade to a newer version of IE (IE10, IE11). IE8 was released in March 2009 (4 years ago) IE9 - March 2011 (2 years ago) IE10 - Sept 2012 (17 months ago) IE11 - Oct 2013 (4 month ago) Let me know of any other problems that could prevent us from dropping the IE8 support.
