Yes that's right. If a skin property is empty, XWiki will fall back on
to the default templates or style sheet.
Also, if there is no existing section in the skin object for the
template you want to modify, you can simply add it by editing the skin
class and creating a text area property with a name corresponding to
the filename you want to override.
