The XMPP Chat Application

clearly states that it only works with Jetty. (This extension only works
with Jetty (no tomcat and no apache front-end server))
So maybe the Chat Application
<http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/ChatApplication>
does the trick for you?
