Hi guys,
just a quick question? Do you think it will be difficult to migrate
from a MSSQL database to a MySQL database. I have to use MSSQL for
now, but might have the chance to switch from Micro$oft to Unix/Linux
later and it would be very critical to do the mentioned database
switch then. Any experiences or opinions around? Thanx guys.

The easiest way (and safest way I guess) to do it is to export the
whole wiki in a xar and then import it in the new wiki instance. You
can do it in the administration user interface.
That way you don't have to worry about the real database storage
behind the scene, at least for the XWiki content.

that really sounds like the easiest migration, you're right. I will
try to do a POC on this to be sure that everything would work once
this scenario became relevant to me.
