Hi guys.. Can't seem to find in the api any means to set the subject for a message being sent using this method - is this not possible? Hi Brandon, This method has been deprecated in favor of using the Mail Sender Plugin ( http://code.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Plugins/MailSenderPlugin ). The plugin offers 4 different methods, some of them allows you to set the subject of your email. Check the example described at the end of the page for a live example. Actually you can. You need to write this in your email : #set ($youremail = "Subject: Your Subject Here ${xwiki.nl} Your Email Content") And then use $youremail in the $xwiki.sendMessage method as the email content parameter. The plugin offers 4 different methods, some of them allows you to set the subject of your email. Check the example described at the end of the page for a live example.
