Hi Richard,
I definitely agree. Let's do it. Let's all of us do it. This is a
simple way for contributors to contribute something too.
If each user was putting back was he learns in the documentation then
the doc would be awesome. They all say they don't have enough
knowledge but since most of them get their stuff working, I assume
that they get that knowledge in the end (from the source code, from
the answers on the list, etc). Apparently it's easier for them to ask
questions and then go away than writing down what they've learnt...
So yes current xwiki committers need to do their work but it'd be
also good for users and possibly power users to help too :)
Let's all work on improving it!
Thanks
-Vincent

Hi all,
Just an observation: if there were more documentation, code
tutorials i.e. customising the skins, writing macros, writing
objects and using them, embedding groovy and velocity code,
explaination of snippets of code and how they work, etc then a lot
more people would start writing and contributing stuff and it would
snowball - so what I'm saying is that a little more work in this
area would reap great rewards. Unfortunately I don't know enough of
how XWiki works to do this otherwise I'd contribute.
