Hello sir,
I am interested in this project because the Idea is really nice. Working in
this project will definately horm my skill & I will learn a lot of new
things.
I find myself the right person in persuing this project because :-
1.) I have good experiance in Android Development.
2.) I am very much willing to learn new technologies from others.
3.) I had recently worked on Wikipedia Mobile editor android app
.(WikiMedia API).
4.) I am passionate for Software Development.
5.) I will fully devote my time & skills for this project.
Looking forward.

Hi devs,
I’d like that we agree on a rule, which is to put all our xwiki.org customizations inside a XWikiOrg space (for the main wiki and all subwikis). I’m not talking about apps but about pages to customize the UI such as skin, color themes, panels, UIX, etc.
I need to create some UIX for the quick search on subwikis so I’m going to start this now.
Let me know what you think.
Thanks

Hi devs,
I would like to release the XPoll Application v1.6.5 in order to include
the changes from http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XDOODLE/fixforversion/15581 +
code clean and code indentation performed in different commits since last
release. Also, since Andreea Popescu is not maintaining anymore the
application, I could take the lead of it to be able to Release on Jira.
Thanks,
Alex
Hi devs and especially Guillaume,
I was creating a subwiki locally and accessing it the first time was taking quite long (several seconds) and I was wondering why. My guess is that the less cache is indexed on the wiki id and it had to recompile the LESS files from the flamingo skin for that wiki.
I was wondering why since the compilation will result in the same CSS than the one used for the main wiki! So it would seem to be some extra work for nothing.
So I was thinking: What about computing a checksum of the file to compile and use that as the less cache id instead of our current cache id?
Would that work?
Thanks

Hi users & devs,
A quick mail to let you know that I have recently released two new
extensions for developers:
Event Listener Administration:
This new extension add an administration section that allow fine tuning the
registration of event listeners in XWiki. Purely oriented to developers and
advanced administrator, this extension should be used with care.
Wiki Analyzer Application:
Currently limited to two very useful tool, I hope this extension to grow
with further tools for analyzing a wiki. The actual tools are:
* List installed extension: a filterable table of installed extension and
their related documents
* All documents status: a livetable similar to the page index that easy
detecting and analyzing changes to existing document against their pristine
equivalent provided by the extension. It also has a link with the SVN
application if you use it.
I take also this occasion to mention the updated of the Scripting
Documentation extension.
You can now installed it under XWiki >7.x with Jetty (default HSQLDB
package of XWiki) with being afraid to broke your wiki. I have also fixed
and improve hyperlinking in the Javadoc displayed. No more broken links,
and even more links between platform, rendering and commons project.
Enjoy !

Hi Devs,
I’d like to start the 6.4.8 release ASAP (now if possible) in order to have a last 6.4.x branch release before we release 8.0 final (which will make our new LTS become 7.4.2).
Any remark?
Thanks
