While I agree that this does not seem like the spontaneous thing one
would wish, I believe it is a trend that is useful to follow. I was at a
symposium on informatics education at school recently and the majority
of software tools were discussed with a focus on mobiles, mostly tablets.
Missing that wave in such a modern IDE sounds like a bad idea.
I guess that accepting that the width has a minimum would be ok.
