It's actually a duplicate, thanks for pointing to this thread. I will
consider it voted, as the other mail shows, and implement it as soon as
 I find the time.
I'm -0.5 if we do just that just for XWiki Watch and keep the status quo
 for
other products (namely manager - maybe xeclipse
too).
Well here's how I see it: someone has to do it, and it has to start with
something. This mail was just to make sure that if I do this for watch,
we all agree this is what we want to do (because I overlooked the other
mail, where we had actually agreed on this).
In this context, -0.5 is a little strange because it sortof blocks
anything to happen unless it happens for everything. Shouldn't it be
good already that we do this for watch? Is it really an "all or
nothing", given the fact that the strategy was already applied for
workspaces and not for these other projects?

No, it's not all or nothing. I'm not talking about the rest of the initial
proposal from march, just about the move of top level projects.
What I don't want to see is that we make the move for Watch now and that 6
months from now XEM is still in between both strategies (products vs.
extensions).
We only need to agree on that and for me it's OK. I'm even OK to help making
the move for manager if needed.
Jerome.
  Thanks,
 Anca
If we look at the original proposal from march, manager is in the same
 boat.
And looking at facts, it is also on the
backburner (no roadmap, not
 tested).
I'm OK if we implement the global strategy of moving those two top level
 projects to extensions.
 Jerome.

 Also, according to this vote

http://xwiki.markmail.org/thread/scrwsfqfm6b5h5zf I would like to
release something from the current trunk (1.1M2 probably), compatible
 with a latest XWiki.
 I'm +1 for all these.
 WYDT?
 Thanks,
 Anca
