[xwiki-users] Why the "created" and "last modified" time are wrong?

Hi All, I have installed "XWiki Enterprise 2.2.1.27354" on my laptop, and found that after created or modified the document, the "created" and "last modified" time are wrong! For example, my local time is "2010/04/28, 22:08", but the "date" of the document I just created is "2010/04/28, 09:38". My local time zone is "Beijing, China", UTC/GMT +8 hours. How could I solve this issue? You comments are welcome! Island

[xwiki-users] Clobbered syntax when importing 2.1 xwiki content into 2.5.1

Hi, I'm having severe trouble when importing xwiki content from xwiki 2.1 into xwiki 2.5.1. When the import is fresh everything seems OK: http://xwiki.475771.n2.nabble.com/file/n5808169/original.jpg When I try to edit, the syntax looks exactly as in 2.1 http://xwiki.475771.n2.nabble.com/file/n5808169/edit.jpg And when I "Save & Show" (without any changes) the page looks like: http://xwiki.475771.n2.nabble.com/file/n5808169/new.jpg What is this? How can I get around this? [xwiki-users] component manager not initialized after install

Hello, I installed XWiki today and when I first tried to view the Wiki, I received the following error: Error 500: Component manager has not been initialized before lookup for [org.xwiki.model.reference.DocumentReferenceResolver] for hint [currentmixed] Could anyone give me advice about this error message? I installed it on Websphere AS 6.1, fix level 23, and Oracle 9g. I modified the Hibernate config file to use Oracle with "OracleDialect" pointing at my database. I also added the dummy data source. I added the PNG mime-type and restarted WAS. I added ojdbc41.jar to the WEB-INF/lib folder of the WAR. I did change the Web app context to "wiki" instead of "xwiki", but I didn't think that should make a difference. Thanks in advance, Scott McMasters

Dear all, I have a class with a UserList attribute. I am trying to add users to this list from an other page with no success. [xwiki-users] Error running XWiki Enterprise Manager on WebLogic 9.2

I am trying to set up XWiki Enterprise Manager on WebLogic 9.2 with an Oracle database. After deploying the application, and accessing it, I get the following error. The page still renders somewhat, but am unable to create wikis or do anything. Any help is appreciated, thanks. [xwiki-users] Dropping support for IE6?

Hi everyone, As users, I'm wondering what you'd think if we were to drop support for IE6 in the XWiki Enterprise 3.X cycle. Would that be a huge problem for you? The reason I'm asking is because supporting IE6 costs us a lot in term of extra development time and by dropping it we could be faster on other stuff. Note that this is just me asking, there's no plan about this at this point in time, I'm just curious to have some feedback, especially since support for IE6 has been dropped for lots of services and software out there (including Microsoft). Dear xwiki-community, Thank you for helping me sofar, getting my XWiki up and running. This weekend I noticed that I could not login from my home computer. [xwiki-users] Create document from many template

First of all I want say Hello to all the community. I'm newbie of XWiki and wiki in general; I'm trying to start a enterprise wiki and I choose XWiki after many consideration. To create a clean and organized wiki I want give to the users the possibility of create page starting from some template. Previously, I use PbWiki and this platform offer some template by default, like: - blank template - meeting (to schedule meetings) - press release - project - to do list and so on. I have see the http://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/FAQ/HowToCreateADocumentTemplate LINK that explain that purpose, but what I want to do is offer to the users a choice from a list of templates to start from.
