crowded.

Some comments on this new proposal:
* I don't like too much having panels on both sides. I'd prefer panels
on
a
single side.
* except from Main page, the left sided panels are used only for
navigation;
* I don't like the horizontal tab UI
* this way we state that menu is the Primary one, being horizontal
* I don't understand the reason for the
arrows on the left and right. It
looks as if I can click on them and the main content will scroll, is
that
it?
* The Projects are presented in an *carousel*: XWiki Enterprise, XWiki
Office, Extensions + other Temporal Thematic Pages (major releases,
events,
etc);
* I don't like that the description of the
project is in a panel on the
left. I'd really prefer it to be in the main content area, above XWiki

* My biggest complaint: The home page doesn't
look like a community site

all. This is important. Showing avatars + names
would a way to achieve
this.
Actually I think I'd prefer that the home be
100% about the community
only
and have a link to direct to the XE page. The
current home page could be
used as the main home page for the XE project page instead.
* We can make a page like this for the Community space. The ideea was
that
the Home page present the project first and gives you an overview of the
site content.
Conclusion: I'd really like to see a proposal where the home page is a
community site proposal showing contributors activities (avatar + names)
on:
- extensions (extensions.xwiki.org)
- modified pages in the wiki(s)
- mailing list messages
- code commits
* IMO I think this should be present on the Community WebHome and
Development WebHome.
