Hello, I have compiled xwiki-web-standard-2.1-SNAPSHOT + Oracle 10G but when I run it, everything it's ok but I can see things like this in every page: $xwiki.jsfx.use('js/scriptaculous/effects.js', true) $xwiki.jsfx.use('js/xwiki/widgets/modalPopup.js', true) $xwiki.ssfx.use('js/xwiki/widgets/modalPopup.css', true) $xwiki.jsfx.use('js/xwiki/widgets/jumpToPage.js', true) $xwiki.ssfx.use('js/xwiki/widgets/jumpToPage.css', true) $xwiki.jsfx.use('uicomponents/widgets/confirmationBox.js', true) $xwiki.ssfx.use('uicomponents/widgets/confirmationBox.css', true) $xwiki.jsfx.use('uicomponents/widgets/confirmedAjaxRequest.js', true) $xwiki.jsfx.use('uicomponents/widgets/notification.js', true) $xwiki.ssfx.use('uicomponents/widgets/notification.css', true) $xwiki.jsfx.use('js/xwiki/viewers/attachments.js', {'forceSkinAction': true, 'language': ${context.language}})$xwiki.ssfx.use('js/xwiki/viewers/attachments.css', true I haven't imported an .xar yet. I even tested with a correct xwiki.cfg from an enterprise windows installation but it continues doing the same. I have googled and I have read that I must include jsfx and ssfx plugins, but where? Thanks

[xwiki-devs] [VOTE] Introducing a new velocity tool for JSON manipulation

Hi all, I'd like to commit a new velocity tool to help producing JSON from velocity. It's mainly a wrapper around the json-lib library (http://json-lib.sourceforge.net/). For a first version, I propose the 2 following APIs : public JSON toJSON(Object object) public String toValueString(String value) The first one should become a privileged way of producing JSON from velocity. It allows to easily write a JSON-valid String from java beans and/or maps. See http://json-lib.sourceforge.net/usage.html#objects for more information of what it makes possible. Note that JSON#toString actually writes down the valid JSON, so in velocity we just have to do : $jsontool.toJSON($object) The second API is a helper to produce a JSON-valid value String from a java String (it escapes properly quotes). I've pasted the proposed implementation at http://incubator.myxwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/VelocityJsonToolProposal As a bonus, this will make the JSON groovy builder (http://json-lib.sourceforge.net/apidocs/jdk15/net/sf/json/groovy/JsonGroovy…) and the JSONSlurper (http://json-lib.sourceforge.net/apidocs/jdk15/net/sf/json/groovy/JsonSlurpe…) available for groovy scripting. If you agree I would like to commit it in branch 2.0 as well, as this is the clean way of fixing some issues with the livetable. (For example : http://jira.xwiki.org/jira/browse/XWIKI-4282). Hi JV, I think there's a pb with the watchlist: when a user is added or removed, it's removed from XWikiAllGroup (for ex). However the diff shows a lot of other users. Is it normal? Hi, We were supposed to release 2.1M1 yesterday according to our initial roadmap. However we've all been working on 2.0.x releases and as a consequence there isn't much in 2.1M1 that isn't in 2.0.x releases. Namely there are 11 issues and most of them are not very important (see http://tinycoke.com/_6rvPPs9pSbA/picture_1.png) and don't warrant a release IMO. I'm proposing to remove 2.1M2 and extend 2.1M1 till 16 Nov (ie the date when 2.1M2 was supposed to be released). It seems the snapshot version can not save document and it will automatically generate so many sessions. It only works on my Dell pc, does not work on the linux server. [xwiki-devs] [Proposal] Add "always on this page" value for SSX "use" property

Hi! I was wondering if it's OK to add a third possible value for stylesheet extension "use" property, something like "always on this page". This could also be the default value. As far as I know, the two possible values for SSX "use" property are: - "on demand" - which means that any page can demand that SSX - "always" - which means that all pages will have the CSS for that object While these two properties are very good and practical, there are some minor aspects: 1) Somebody (perhaps a designer) can create a SSX and other users (perhaps content editors) forget to "demand" it 2) Having a SSX with use="always" and a second SSX with use="on demand" both on the same page makes the two objects available for all wiki pages (in term of client side CSS) 3) The content is aware of the design. It's ok if in the content of a wiki page we can demand the stylesheet of another page, and that we can create some stylesheet that will be used by all wiki pages. But, in my opinion, the content must not be aware of it's own design. This third value ("use"="always on this page") will also help other projects like XOffice and XOO. At this moment, XWord, for example, should follow these steps: - save the page first (you can't create a SSX on an unpublished/nonexistent page) - identify saved page syntax (XWord works with XHTML) - "know" how the SSX macro looks-like in page's syntax (yeah, not a big deal, but it's something that XWord shouldn't care about) - edit the content to insert the $xwiki.ssx.use($docFullname) - publish the page, again "Always on this page" (or "always on parent page") usage could improve some of the aspects mentioned above. Dear Devs, Could anyone give me some idea or give me a reference a material/ or example to help me deploy the last XE snapshot. My guess is to write maven pom file. I think just one pom file will do the work, right? Just mvn install. I do look up the Maven definitive guide, it says we could the a version value of LASTEST to refer to the lastest released or snapshot version of a particular artifact. [xwiki-devs] [Proposal] Create xwiki-gwt-user module

Hi devs, I'd like to create a xwiki-gwt-user module in platform-web which will contain classes from the util and widget WYSIWYG packages. This module corresponds to the com.google.gwt.user package which contains utility and UI-related classed. The module will have this structure: org.xwiki.gwt.user.client.* (classes from the current util package) org.xwiki.gwt.user.client.widget.* (classes from the current widget package) Since I want this module to be generic (an extension of what GWT currently provides) I'd like to exclude the following class/packages which are XWiki specific: * util.Attachment * widget.explorer.* * widget.wizard.util.* * widget.PageSelector * widget.SpaceSelector * widget.WikiSelector These can remain in the WYSIWYG source tree for the moment but I'm considering moving them to the gwt module which is XWiki specific. [xwiki-devs] Getting Source Repository - Newbie question

Hi, I am trying to get xwiki platform sources from TortoiseSVN. I have followed this instructions: http://dev.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Community/SourceRepository but I think I must make changes at Tortoise or something like that, because when I try to checkout http://svn.xwiki.org/svnroot/xwiki/platform/ recursively and HEAD revision I download more than 2GB of contents (I have only arrived to 2GB, then my RAM dies). I suppose I should only download last xwiki 2.0, could you tell me the essentials I need to compile platform? Thanks and sorry for this stupid question!!
